Choose QuikDRAW for Easy, Convenient Medical Testing
When you need medical tests such as routine blood work, an X-ray or an EKG, Excela Health offers an array of testing locations called Excela Health QuikDRAW or QuikDRAW PLUS. All results are interpreted by hospital professionals and sent directly to your doctor. Simply bring your prescription and insurance information to your nearest QuikDRAW, where everything else is taken care of for you. No appointment is needed.
QuikDRAW PLUS centers offer complete laboratory, X-ray, EKG and pre-admission testing. QuikDRAW locations offer laboratory testing only.
Diagnostic Tests Offered
Laboratory testing: Blood chemistry, hematology, microbiology and cytology.
Mammography: Two types are available. A screening mammogram is used to look for breast changes in women who have no symptoms of breast cancer. A diagnostic mammogram is used to investigate breast changes such as a lump, pain or nipple discharge.
Ultrasound: An ultrasound machine uses high-frequency sound waves and a computer to create pictures of your body.
MRI: Magnetic resonance imaging involves a machine that creates an image of the body using a large magnet. MRI is used to find problems such as tumors, bleeding, injury or infection.
CT: A computed tomography scan uses low-energy X-rays and computers to create a cross-sectional image of your body. CT scanning can be used to obtain information about almost any body organ, blood vessels, the abdominal cavity, bones and the spinal cord.
EKG: An electrocardiogram measures the electrical signals that control the rhythm of your heartbeat.
Imaging Services Expanded: Excela Health clinicians are able to view the body in a more precise way with a state-of-the-art PET/CT scanner at Mountain View Imaging and Diagnostic Testing Center. This enables doctors to detect disease more accurately.
PET/CT: Positron emission tomography (PET) and computerized tomography (CT) are imaging tools that allow clinicians to pinpoint the location of cancer before making treatment recommendations.
