Barclay Rehabilitation: Helping You Return to Good Health

Rehabilitative services at Excela Health are known for their innovative approach. Through inpatient and outpatient settings that include physical, speech and occupational therapies, patients return to optimal health and independence. From children with cerebral palsy to teens with sports injuries to adults recovering from knee replacement, professionals from Excela Health Barclay Rehabilitation can help.

Inpatient Care

A dedicated team, led by a physiatrist (a physician specializing in rehabilitative medicine), will help you reach your individual goals. Excela Health professionals focus on what the patient can do, rather than on what they can’t do. We help those who have had a stroke, knee or hip replacement, hip fracture or amputation, as well as those who have sustained multiple traumas or undergone back surgery.

Outpatient Care

The physician, patient and therapist devise a treatment plan to meet personal goals. The patient receives home instruction to foster wellness and independence when therapy is done. We offer free transportation for qualifying patients, on-site registration and a first visit within 24 hours of calling. Services include:
  • physical, speech and occupational therapies
  • aquatic therapy
  • hand therapy by a certified hand therapist
  • vestibular/balance therapy
  • interdisciplinary neurological rehabilitation
  • treatment of urinary incontinence and lymphedema
  • industrial therapy from prevention to injury management.
